“Our Children Will Pay the Bill for Bush’s Budget” (Washington Outlook, Feb. 10) was right on the mark. What President Bush is proposing is not a tax break but a mandatory debt. To add insult to injury, not only does Bush’s budget heavily favor the wealthy but the interest on the debt will be paid by the middle class for years to come.
