Baseball: Tyler Mark and David Berg are The Closers

In Southern California college baseball, former Culver City pitcher Tyler Mark of Concordia and former Bishop Amat pitcher David Berg of UCLA are letting high school pitchers see what a closer is supposed to look like.
Mark, a junior, has 20 saves for Concordia, an NAIA school in Irvine. He’s 3-0 with a 1.24 ERA.
Berg, a senior sidearmer, is 4-0 with an 0.96 ERA and eight saves. He hasn’t allowed any runs in Pac-12 play this season, a scoreless innings streak of 22.
Another Southern California closer is former Valencia pitcher J.D. Busfield. He has 13 saves and a 1.31 ERA for Loyola Marymount as a sophomore.
