The rapper known as the Game is one of the named suspects in an alleged assault that briefly sent a Washington, D.C.-area disc jockey to the hospital, according to police reports in Lanham, Md.
“There was an incident and he is among the people identified,” said a spokesman with the detectives bureau of the Prince George’s County police. “There is an ongoing investigation.”
Police reports show that the Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, was a guest Friday night on a WKYS radio show hosted by a disc jockey who calls himself Zxulu. After the show went off the air, members of the Game’s entourage and the Compton-based rapper himself allegedly attacked the show’s host, according to police reports.
The Game’s major-label debut album, “The Documentary,” is expected to be No. 1 on the pop charts when the sales tally is released Wednesday. Neither he nor his representatives could be reached for comment by press time Monday.
