Los Alamitos receiver Jeremy Childs has changed his college commitment from UCLA to Boise State.
Childs, who was selected to the Times’ All-Star team last season after catching 82 passes for 1,143 yards and 21 touchdowns, committed to the Bruins in late December but changed his mind after making an official recruiting trip to Boise last weekend.
Another Los Alamitos player, Orlando Scandrick, committed to Boise State after the same trip. He is expected to play defensive back for the Broncos. John Hale, a linebacker and the leading tackler for the Griffins last season, committed to UCLA over the weekend.
Gardner McKay, an All-City cornerback from L.A. Crenshaw, has committed to Colorado.
