From Times Wire Reports
Officials began preparing for Tropical Storm Bonnie to push into the state by Thursday, possibly followed by Tropical Storm Charley a day later.
Bonnie was still about 300 miles from landfall, but authorities in Tallahassee said the storm could intensify overnight and become a hurricane before striking Florida’s Panhandle.
Charley, meanwhile, was moving quickly across the Caribbean toward Jamaica, but was expected to shift course and possibly strike Florida by Friday.
