Chase Ends With Smashed Cars, Arrest

A Whittier teen was arrested early Monday after authorities said he led La Habra police on a pursuit in a stolen car.
The 17-year-old, who was not identified because of his age, was being held at Orange County Juvenile Hall.
The car was stolen about 2 a.m. as the owner tried to park it on Buena Vista Avenue, police said. Officers spotted the car and said they tried to get the driver to pull over but the teen led police on a 14-minute chase through Fullerton and Orange that ended when the stolen car slammed into two parked cars in Anaheim.
