Glendale Man Dies in Crash at Offramp

A Glendale man died Thursday night after his car was hit by a pickup truck that ran a red light at a Hollywood Freeway offramp, Los Angeles police said.
Vahe Fakhorian, 20, was exiting the southbound Hollywood Freeway at Magnolia Boulevard at 7:30 p.m. when a Ford F-150 pickup struck his Honda Civic, police said.
An 18-year-old North Hollywood woman was driving the truck east on Magnolia when she ran a red light at the intersection, LAPD Officer Michelle Lopez said.
Fakhorian was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Two of his passengers were injured, including a 20-year-old man who suffered a broken jaw. The driver of the truck and her passenger also suffered minor injuries, Lopez said.
An investigation is continuing, she said.
