Public Asked to Help Identify a Dead Woman

Detectives are attempting to identify a young woman shot to death and later found on a hillside in Elysian Park.
The victim, known as Jane Doe No. 39, was spotted near a picnic area on the morning of June 28 by a man walking his dog, authorities said.
The victim, shown in sketch above, is Latina, 15 to 25 years old, 5-feet-1, 147 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a large mole on her inner left elbow. She was wearing a white T-shirt and white Converse All Star tennis shoes.
