Charlotte Hornet forward Scott Burrell underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks. The Hornets activated forward Rafael Addison. . . . The Portland Trail Blazers waived Yugoslavian point guard Aleksandar Djordjevic, put Reggie Jordan on the injured list because of a broken bone in his left hand and activated rookie guard Marcus Brown.
