R. Kelly Flying High
Soul-stirring R&B; sensation R. Kelly finds himself No. 1 across the nation but only No. 4 on The Times’ Southern California chart with his inspirational “I Believe I Can Fly.”
The song is from the “Space Jam” soundtrack, one of four soundtrack albums now in the national Top 10. The others are Whitney Houston’s “The Preacher’s Wife,” “Romeo & Juliet” and “Evita.”
Meanwhile, Orange County ska-pop phenomenon No Doubt shows no signs of giving up its spot at the top.
