Jazz Film Showings Planned at LACMA

Jazz archivist Murray Glass will present two nights of jazz films, Jan. 3 and 4, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The first night will include footage of Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Kenton and others. The Jan. 4 program will feature Bessie Smith, Coleman Hawkins and Woody Herman. Admission is $6, $4 for museum members. Both shows are at 7:30 p.m. Information: (213) 857-6000.
