Jazz Film Showings Planned at LACMA

Jazz archivist Murray Glass will present two nights of jazz films, Jan. 3 and 4, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The first night will include footage of Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Kenton and others. The Jan. 4 program will feature Bessie Smith, Coleman Hawkins and Woody Herman.
