In other Division I matches:
Dana Hills 11, Camarillo 7--Michele Johnson and Katie Tierney swept at doubles, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5, for host Dana Hills (17-3).
Palos Verdes Peninsula 10, Newport Harbor 8--Despite some good play from Newport Harbor’s No. 1 singles player Sarah Hawkins, who won two of her three sets, and the No. 2 doubles team of Vanessa Godbey and Emily Barker, who swept, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4, the Sailors could not stop top-ranked Palos Verdes Peninsula (22-0). Newport Harbor finished 10-7.
Woodbridge 10, Santa Barbara 8--Natalie Exon, Alyssa Artunian and Rachel Gunther each won two of three singles sets for visiting Woodbridge (18-4). Woodbridge will play top-seeded Palos Verdes Peninsula.
In Division II matches:
El Dorado 11, Alhambra 7--Linda Surapruik swept her singles sets, 6-3, 6-0, 6-1, and Brittany McMillian and Susan Surapruik swept their doubles sets, 6-2, 6-0, 6-0, for El Dorado (20-5). El Dorado will play Hemet on Thursday at a site to be determined.
Laguna Beach 14, Edison 4--Sarah Cohen and Vanessa Zajfen swept in doubles, 6-3, 6-0, 6-4, for host Laguna Beach (21-1). Edison finishes 14-7. The top-seeded Artists play the Calabasas-Diamond Bar winner in Thursday’s semifinals.
Los Alamitos 12, Los Angeles Marlborough 6--Alison Miller and Michelle Schneider swept their doubles sets, 7-6, 6-4, 6-1, and Laura Springoski and Sonja Ralli swept their sets, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4, for Los Alamitos (20-1).
University 10, Beverly Hills 8--The doubles teams of Gillian Kane and Malavika Dore and Katy Clark and Jennifer Krupoff each swept their sets for visiting University (13-5).
