LAGUNA BEACH — Police on Monday were seeking a Laguna Beach man thought to have stolen a car and robbed a local boutique of about $700 on Sunday.
Sgt. Bob Rayhouser said police are looking for 24-year-old Brandon Bandt, suspected in the theft of his roommate’s Mazda and a robbery Sunday afternoon at Pacific Eyes and T’s, a sunglasses and T-shirt shop on South Coast Highway.
Police said that a man, who hinted he was armed, demanded money from store clerks though he never showed a gun. He escaped on foot with about $700, Rayhouser said.
