Four Oxnard residents were shot and wounded in a drive-by shooting near Gonzales Road and Oxnard Boulevard in what police said Sunday may be a gang-related attack.
The four victims were driving near the intersection around 9:40 p.m. Saturday when another car pulled alongside and opened fire, according to Oxnard Police Cmdr. Joe Munoz.
Miguel Lozano and Roberto Ortiz, both 18, suffered minor injuries, as did two male juveniles, Munoz said. Because of their ages, the juveniles were not identified. Their medical conditions could not be determined.
Ortiz was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor. Lozano was treated at the scene.
Munoz said that as of late Sunday afternoon, no suspects had been arrested.
