SWEPT ASIDE: Cal State Northridge entered the NCAA Division I men’s volleyball final with considerable momentum, having won seven matches in a row, including a sweep of Penn State in the semifinals. But the Matadors were cooled off in Saturday night’s championship match by UCLA, 15-8, 15-11, 15-10. . . . CSUN’s Ken Lynch (above) spikes against UCLA’s Jeff Nygaard (9) Saturday, which marked the third time in three meetings this season the Bruins had swept the Matadors (C12).
