Axl N’ Cancellations: The long arm of the law is still reaching out for Axl Rose, lead singer of Guns N’ Roses. Prosecutors in St. Louis County, Mo., said they hope to have Rose arrested so he can face charges of assault and causing property damage in a riot at the band’s show there last July. Rose allegedly bolted Friday night when he got word he would be arrested at a concert in suburban Chicago, leaving an arena full of fans who didn’t learn that the show was canceled until 30 minutes before show time. The band also canceled shows set for Monday and today in Auburn Hills, Mich. St. Louis County prosecutor Robert McCulloch said Rose had been given plenty of time to answer the charges voluntarily.
