But Will Daly Avoid Three-Putt Pars?

AUGUSTA, Ga. — With long-hitting John Daly playing in his first Masters, there has been all manner of speculation on how he will do on Augusta National, particularly the four par-five holes.
Based on his practice rounds Monday, Daly’s club selection should go like this:
--No. 2, 555 yards: driver, four-iron to the green.
--No. 8, 535 yards: driver, three-iron.
--No. 13, 465 yards: driver, six-iron.
--No. 15, 500 yards: driver, nine-iron.
Of course, getting the ball in the hole is another matter. Daly has earned only $55,392 in nine tournaments this year and is 84th on the money list.
