Five More Security Pacific Branches Sold: Union Bank in San Francisco has agreed to buy the branches, all in the Fresno area, that are being sold to meet antitrust requirements of BankAmerica Corp.’s pending acquisition of Security Pacific Corp. The sale brings to 33 the branches in California that Union Bank is acquiring as part of the deal. The five branches have $140 million in deposits.
