It’s a good time to go to the desert and relax -- without spending a fortune. The hotels participating in Spa Week in Palm Springs put massages, facials and wraps on sale for $50 each. You don’t have to be a guest to take advantage of the low prices, and it’s fine to indulge more than once.
The deal: So what will $50 get you? At the Feel Good Spa at Ace Hotel & Swim Club (701 E. Palm Canyon Drive) you can choose a 50-minute tune-up massage or detoxifying earth clay wrap. Other options are available at the Saguaro Spa at Saguaro Hotel (1800 E. Palm Canyon Drive) and at the Hilton Palm Springs (400 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way). Follow the links to see the offers.

Tested: To get the deal, go to the Spa Week website, click on the spa you want, view the treatments and call for a reservation.
I called to check on treatments at the Saguaro Spa, which offers three discounted spa options, including a 50-minute pumpkin spice facial that’s perfect for October. The savings are good too; it usually costs $115 for a 60-minute treatment, according to the spa’s online menu.
