Discovery Shores Boracay Island, Station 1, 2-720-8888 or 36-288-4500, https://www.lat.ms/YZbJ4p. Travel & Leisure called it the fourth-best hotel in the world. Beautiful, quiet and very private, at the higher end of the beautiful white sand beach. Doubles from $262 in low season.

Along the “boardwalk” amid Station 2, seafood stands offer fresh fish that they’ll prepare for you on the spot. Main dishes about $10.
