California: Valentine packages at Ojai Valley Inn

Treat your sweetie to a Valentine’s Day getaway at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, just 90 minutes from Los Angeles. Pressed for time and can’t escape by Feb. 14? The resort’s “28 Days of Romance” offers are good until the end of February.

Go ahead, play Cupid and choose from one of these room packages:

“Relax into Romance” features a dinner at the Oak Grill, either fireside or outside under the 200-year-old oaks, a bottle of Ojai Valley Inn rose Champagne and a late check-out. Midweek rates from $429.

The “Rekindle Romance” package includes the “Pink Moment Turndown” service, which includes a rose petal arrangement, a bottle of rose Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, breakfast in bed and a late check-out. Midweek rates from $499.

The “Reignite Romance” package features a couples’ massage at Spa Ojai, dinner for two at the inn’s signature restaurant, Maravilla, a “Pink Moment Turndown” and, of course, a late check-out. From $769 midweek.

If these won’t tempt your beloved, you can still book a room (standard rates start at $309 midweek, $329 weekends), then add an a la carte romantic experience, such as the “Pink Moment Turndown” ($150), a lovers’ customized treasure hunt throughout the resort and a Champagne toast ($75), or a s’mores roasting ($12 a platter).
