Your Scene: Face time above Cape Town

During a trip to South Africa in July 2011, Julie Kirby visited Table Mountain, which overlooks Cape Town. On a clear day, she rode a cable car to the top, taking in the view from more than 3,500 feet high.

“Just as I was capturing all this from a safe distance with a photo, up popped these two climbers from the mountain’s face,” she said.

The Glendale resident used a Canon PowerShot A720 IS.
