Your Scene: Monterey’s busy waterways

John Daly caught a glimpse of this sea lion traffic jam during a trip to Monterey last December.

“I had never seen such a large gathering of [sea lions] before, all of whom appeared peaceful, playful and at ease with both nature and with each other, all the while completely oblivious to my presence,” he said.

The Aliso Viejo resident used a Canon EOS Rebel T2i.
