Here’s a great way to take advantage of festival season in Laguna Beach: Buy a pass for $21.50 that allows unlimited visits to three signature summer art events in the coastal town.
The deal: The Passport to the Arts 2012 includes multiple visits to Art-A-Fair (June 29-Sept. 2), Festival of the Arts (July 1-Aug. 31) and the Sawdust Art Festival (June 29-Sept. 2). (Note this pass doesn’t include access to the popular Pageant of the Masters.)
It also comes with discounts at area restaurants, hotels and activities. Some examples: 15% discount at BurgerFi Laguna (695 S. Coast Highway), 15% off a beach-front room at the Pacific Edge Hotel (647 S. Coast Highway) and $15 off a daily blue whale-watching cruise at Newport Landing Whale Watching (309 Palm St., Suite A, Newport Beach).
When: The passport is available now.
Details: Usually each festival would cost $7-$10 per adult for one-day entry. Also, the passport comes with one-time free parking at 1900 Laguna Canyon Road lot and a free shuttle to events from the parking lot. You may buy passes online, at each of the festival box offices or weekdays at Laguna Beach City Recreation Building in downtown Laguna Beach.
