Las Vegas: Lavo’s weekend brunches are back
- Share via
With the arrival of autumn, a popular Saturday brunch will soon return to one of the Strip’s hottest venues, along with a brand-new, more traditional Sunday offering.
Beginning Oct. 19 and continuing through the spring, Lavo Italian Restaurant and Nightclub, which overlooks Las Vegas Boulevard at the Palazzo, will reprise its champagne party brunch. The afternoon affair, which originated at Lavo’s sister location in New York City, pairs a live DJ with an indulgent food menu-- think almond-crusted French toast and lemon ricotta waffles -- and a wide selection of champagnes. The fun starts at 2 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m. and is offered for adults only.
Guests of all ages can enjoy what’s being called “proper brunch” premiering Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The menu for the Sunday repast will include a variety of sweet and savory dishes from lobster Benedict to Nutella crepes. The young (and young-at-heart) may want to opt for the PB&J pancakes, a concoction of Reese’s Pieces pancakes with strawberry sauce and whipped cream.
