USC football: Leonard Williams continues to dominate

USC defensive end Leonard Williams continued his dominating season in the Trojans’ 19-3 victory over Utah on Saturday.
Williams had eight tackles, including 2 1/2 for losses, and was credited with 1 1/2 of the Trojans’ six sacks.
The Trojans sacked Utah quarterback Travis Wilson three times and backup Adam Schulz three times.
“The D-line stepped up and got a lot of pressure on quarterback,” Williams said. “We definitely affected the quarterback.”
Williams, a freshman All-American last season, has a team-leading 54 tackles and has five sacks.
Williams said the Trojans’ game against Notre Dame prepared him for Utah.
“[Notre Dame] has a very physical team up front -- that kind of helped me prepare for another physical team,” Williams said. “I’ve been working on double teams for like a few weeks now. It kind of helped.”
