Drew Brees, Saints say they have a long way to go

Just another five-touchdown day for Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who led his team Sunday to a 35-17 rout of Buffalo in New Orleans.
Pleased as he was to pick up a victory, Brees was disappointed with his team’s mental mistakes, among them a few pre-snap penalties and two occasions when they had just 10 players on the field.
“It’s good when you can not play your best and make certain mistakes and still win like we did,” Brees said. “That’s not good enough for us. We’ve set the bar high.”
The best news for New Orleans was the play of tight end Jimmy Graham, who sat out of practice most of the week nursing a foot injury. He scored on touchdown receptions of 13 and 15 yards and looked back to full speed.
