Update: It’s only January, but this one matters primarily for lottery implications. The Jazz and Lakers are 13th and 14th, respectively, in the Western Conference. Utah has lost three in a row and is only 6-12 at home. Small forward Gordon Hayward is averaging a well-rounded 18.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and four assists.
