What happened: Matt Greene scored his first career playoff goal short-handed late in the second period and defenseman Slava Voynov also got his first career playoff goal as the Kings remained undefeated on the road in the playoffs.

What happened: Anze Kopitar scored twice in a four-goal first period. Mike Richards and Jeff Carter each had a goal and Dustin Brown and Penner each had two assists in a period that was one goal shy of the franchise playoff record of five in 1993 against Vancouver.

What happened: Richards scored the Kings’ first power-play goal in six games before setting up Drew Doughty’s clinching goal with 11 minutes 48 seconds to play. Doughty finished with a goal and two assists. The Kings were in an 0-for-30 power-play drought before Richards’ goal.

What happened: Brown scored two goals, Quick made 23 saves, and the eighth-seeded Kings swept the second-seeded Blues to advance to the conference finals for only the second time in club history. The Kings became the first eighth-seeded team in NHL history to eliminate their conference’s two top-seeded teams in the same postseason.
