Update: The Sparks play the Fever in the final contest of a six-game homestand. The Fever, which is in first place in the Eastern Conference, is led by Tamika Catchings (15.4 points and 7.1 rebounds a game). The Sparks have star forward Candace Parker back in the lineup after she missed seven weeks because of a torn lateral meniscus in her right knee. In her first game back Tuesday against Atlanta, she had 15 points and 10 rebounds even though the Sparks lost, 84-79.
