Cal Coach Sonny Dykes already impressed with his team

Usually at the Pac-12 football media day, every coach mentions how excited he is. California Coach Sonny Dykes was no different, but he went even further.
“I really think in 20-something years of coaching, this is probably my favorite team,” he said. “I like these guys. We’re young; we’re invested; very unselfish; a very mature group; a very focused group; a very hard-working group. So I’m really excited to see what that means.”
Cal opens its season in Australia playing Hawaii.
