Football: Hart 28, Chaminade 20

So far, tonight’s nonleague showdown between #12-ranked Hart and #8 Chaminade is living up to expectations.

Hart leads 28-20 at College of the Canyons but the way these teams can score it’s still anyone’s game.

Brady White’s 13-yard touchdown pass to Trent Irwin completed an 80-yard drive to give Hart a 21-14 lead late in the second quarter.

Ben Kreitenberg kicked a 30-yard field goal to pull Chaminade within four points in the final minute, but the Indians drove 80 yards in 42 seconds, scoring on White’s 13-yard strike to Davis Koppenhaver.

Kreitenberg was short on a 46-yard field goal on the final play of the half but Hart was penalized 15 yards for roughing the kicker and Kreitenberg capitalized on his second chance by making a 32-yarder.
