Girls’ golf: Mira Costa’s Andrea Lee shoots 66 at regional

Andrea Lee of Mira Costa shot a six-under 66 on Monday to finish in first place at the Southern Section Northern Individual girls’ golf regional at River Ridge Golf Course.

Bethany Wu of Diamond Bar was second with a 67. Erin Choi of West Torrance and Katheryn Newton of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame each shot 69. Choi was awarded third place on a card off.

In the Southern Regional at Mile Square Golf Course, Monika Poomcharoen of Great Oak won with a 66. Brittany Farrell of Mission Viejo shot 68 and Ali Morallos of Long Beach Wilson shot 69.
