Football: Suspensions handed down for Pomona-Wilson fight

For the second consecutive day, the Southern Section announced suspensions for a football fight. This time it was the game between Pomona and Hacienda Heights Wilson.
Pomona had one player ejected from the game, one player ejected for fighting following review of video and an additional 13 ejected for leaving the bench. All will have to miss Pomona’s next game.
Wilson had one player ejected for fighting, an additional two were ejected for fighting following review of video and an additional 17 players ejected for leaving the bench.
Pomona is 7-0 and scheduled to play Baldwin Park on Friday.
Wilson is 1-7 and scheduled to play Northview on Saturday.
