Football: John Brazil named head coach at Sylmar

John Brazil can remove the interim label from the Sylmar football coaching position. The former offensive coordinator who took over running the program when Chris Richards was fired as coach midway through this past season has been named the head coach.
Sylmar finished 8-4 this season. Brazil said he expects most of his top young players to stay in the program.
