There’s eight Narbonne football players with scholarship offers. Freshman linebacker Raymond Scott isn’t one of them, but when college coaches start coming around in spring practice, they’ll be certain to start asking about him.
He doesn’t look like a freshman, at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds. He’s still 14 years old and turns 15 on April 19. He started for last season’s City Section championship team.
“He’s going to be an All-American for us. Wait and see,” Coach Manuel Douglas said.
All you need to do is head over to the Narbonne weight room and watch how hard Scott works out.
“He’s a specimen,” Douglas said.
With Scott and senior-to-be Lawson Hall, the Gauchos have the makings for quite a linebacking group.
