Rahim Moore has not forgotten where he came from.
Moore, a former All-City defensive back for Dorsey High, recently made a “generous donation” to the football program, Coach Irvin Davis said.
Moore was a standout at UCLA before becoming a second-round draft pick of the Denver Broncos, where he played for four seasons. He signed with Houston Texans last month.
“Rahim has been an outstanding athlete and a model citizen since his time at Dorsey,” Davis said. “He has come back home to mentor the student-athletes on several occasions.”
Here’s the link to a story from 2005 when Moore was just a sophomore at Dorsey and starting to show his future potential.
