Football: Eric Scott could be leaving Los Angeles
L.A. coach reminds team to not lose its composure

Eric Scott, who has guided Los Angeles to City Section Division III and II two championships in two of the last three seasons, could be headed to Nevada to become an assistant coach, according to Footballscoop.com
He would be joining the staff of new Coach Jay Norvell.
Scott would be a big loss to the City Section. He’s a Crenshaw High grad who turned a losing Los Angeles program into a team that almost beat City Division I champion Narbonne this season in a nonleague game. Los Angeles won the Division II title by upsetting unbeaten Hawkins in the final.
Los Angeles is expected to move up from Division II to Division I next season, putting his successor in a tough position.
Scott was a highly regarded assistant coach at UCLA during the Karl Dorrell era. He knows Los Angeles and would be a very good recruiter for Norvell.
Messages left for Scott have not been returned.
