Football: Emerson Keyes could be key to Crespi’s future

On the Encino Crespi sophomore team is a 6-foot-2 quarterback, Emerson Keyes, who could be key to the Celts’ future.

He’s the cousin of former Birmingham and UCLA standout Dennis Keyes and has begun to show his potential. In a JV game against Vista Murrieta last week, Keyes had 260 yards passing and more than 140 yards rushing.
