Cross country: Sarah Baxter stays unbeaten in winning at Mt. SAC
- Share via
The expectations are so high for Sarah Baxter of Simi Valley that not breaking a course record is considered a disappointment.
But Baxter still won her race on Saturday during the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational in 16 minutes, 11 seconds, 11 seconds slower than last year’s record performance for three miles. Baxter has never lost a high school cross country race.
Simi Valley won the girls’ team sweepstakes title by a point over Great Oak.
Arcadia won the boys’ title.
