Boys’ basketball: Sierra Canyon, Chino Hills are set for Fairfax tournament

Fairfax High has finalized the 16-team field for its summer basketball tournament on June 22-27 at Fairfax High. And it has perhaps the two top teams in Southern California, Sierra Canyon and Chino Hills.
There’s also Brentwood, La Canada, Santa Monica, Loyola, Crespi, Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, Alemany, Corona Centennial, El Segundo, Windward, Maranatha, Long Beach Poly and Fairfax.
Sierra Canyon returns its entire starting five from its Division V state championship team.
Chino Hills will have three Ball brothers on the team in the summer. LaMelo, a freshman, joins Lonzo and LiAngelo.
