Hanley Ramirez late addition to Dodgers’ lineup for Game 6

ST. LOUIS -- Remember all that talk about Hanley Ramirez not being in the Dodgers’ lineup Friday?
Never mind. He will start Game 6 of the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Ramirez did not come out with the rest of the team for pregame warm-ups and batting practice, but about 45 minutes before first pitch, the Dodgers changed their lineup, adding Ramirez at shortstop. Moments later, Ramirez came out on the field alongside a Dodgers trainer and began agility drills and running.
Ramirez, who sustained a fractured rib when he was hit by a pitch in Game 1, is batting .167 in the NLCS, with five strikeouts in 12 at-bats.
Ramirez was fitted for a protective vest before Game 3, but his limited range and inability to extend his swing without pain have become increasingly evident.
In his six at-bats in Games 4 and 5, he struck out four times, grounded into a double play and hit a comebacker to the pitcher, turning over a dugout cooler of Gatorade after one failed at-bat.
