At least it should make Wednesday interesting.
The Dodgers’ game against the Nationals in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday was rained out when a heavy storm moved through the capital.
A key doubleheader is now scheduled for Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. Each game will air on KCAL.
The Dodgers will start Aaron Harang in the first game and Josh Beckett in the nightcap.
The Dodgers have 15 games remaining, and began Tuesday one game behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the National League’s second wild-card berth. They are two of six teams within 4 1/2 games of each other for the NL’s final playoff spot.
The Nationals (89-57) currently have the best record in baseball.
