SANTA ANA — Sophomore Tyler Rios went three for four and recorded a save in the Eagles’ Orange Coast League game Friday.

Rios, who pitched 1 1/3 innings, also scored a run and stole a base for Estancia (9-10, 4-5 in league).

Starter Tyler De la Pena improved to 3-3 after striking out four in 5 2/3 innings of work.

Steven Macias went one for two, drove in a run and walked twice.

The Eagles play at Saddleback Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Junior AJ Goldfarb went three for three with two runs batted in for the Mustangs in an Orange Coast League game Friday.

Tyler Sheffner went two for three with two doubles and two RBIs for Costa Mesa (10-9, 5-4 in league).

PJ Maloney (5-1) went five innings, allowing four hits and striking out three.

The Mustangs are currently tied for second place in league with Calvary Chapel. Costa Mesa plays host the Eagles in a doubleheader Tuesday. The first game is at 12:30 p.m.
