Area 1

Cliff Drive: A citation was issued for illegally taking scallops in the 1200 block at 11:39 a.m. Sunday.

Los Olivos: A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Catalina Street at 1:39 a.m. Aug. 7.

North Coast Highway: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine in the 900 block at 3:52 p.m. Aug. 5.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics in the 800 block at 7:12 p.m. Aug. 5.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was issued a citation for marijuana possession in the 100 block at 6:23 p.m. Aug. 7.

North Coast Highway: A Fullerton woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1300 block after a traffic stop at 1:54 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A window was reported broken, and a trail of blood nearby, in the 300 block at 1:41 p.m. Sunday.

Area 2

Canyon Acres Drive: A La Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Laguna Canyon Road after a traffic stop at 2:33 a.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Carlsbad woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 600 block at 9:26 p.m. Aug. 6.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Claremont man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Canyon Acres Drive after a traffic stop at 10:08 p.m. Aug. 7.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 900 block at 2:17 p.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being found passed out on a trolley in a parking lot in the 1900 block at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

Broadway: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 200 block after a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Saturday.

Broadway: A Laguna Hills woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 300 block after a traffic stop at 1:52 a.m. Sunday.

Broadway: A man was issued a citation for petty theft after allegedly stealing a pair of shorts worth $28 in the 300 block at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday.

Forest Avenue: A stroller with a diaper bag and wallet, value at $600, was reported stolen from a shop in the 300 block at 1:47 p.m. Aug. 5.

Legion Street: An Alhambra man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway after a traffic stop at 2:44 a.m. Sunday.

Main Beach: A wallet was reported stolen in the 100 block of the beach at 5:38 p.m. Aug. 6.

Skyline Drive: A plant and pot, valued at $60, were reported stolen from a front porch in the 1400 block at 1:46 p.m. Aug. 6.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 300 block at 11:10 a.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: A beach bag, valued at $350, was reported stolen in the 100 block of Main Beach at 8:15 p.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 500 block at 11:06 p.m. Monday.

Area 4

Gaviota Drive: An ongoing problem with potted plants being stolen was reported in the 700 block at 11:03 a.m. Monday.

Hinkle Place: Two Laguna Beach men were arrested, one on suspicion of DUI and one on suspicion of public intoxication, at South Coast Highway after a traffic stop at 7:13 p.m. Monday.

Oak Street: A car was reported keyed at Gaviota Drive at 9:57 p.m. Aug. 6.

Oak Street: A car was reported keyed in a driveway in the 600 block at 12:49 p.m. Monday.

Pearl Street: Two citations were issued for trespassing to people who were sleeping on a front yard in the 200 block at 10:07 a.m. Aug. 6.

South Coast Highway: A transformer caught fire, causing a power outage, in the 1200 block at 8:46 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: An Orange man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Cress Street at 8:51 p.m. Saturday.

Area 5

Coast Highway: A gate arm was reported broken, resulting in $450 in damage, at a parking lot in the 30000 block at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 7.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic collision in the 31000 block at 7:34 p.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: Someone attempted to pass a fake $10 bill at a market in the 30000 block at 11:03 a.m. Monday.

Monterey Street: A gray Dodge Ram truck was reported stolen in the 31000 block at 11:33 a.m. Saturday.

Totuava Beach: A man and woman, both from Fountain Valley, were issued citations for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana in the 31000 block at 4:31 p.m. Aug. 6.

Wesley Drive: A $200 GPS system was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 21000 block at 10:12 a.m. Aug. 5.
