Estancia, Newport win coin flip, CdM doesn’t

The boys’ soccer teams from Newport Harbor and Estancia high schools found out Saturday they’ll be playing home games for the second round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Corona del Mar didn’t win its coin flip for a home game and will be on the road again, playing at Santa Monica Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Division IV.

In Division I, the Sailors will play host to Crespi Wednesday at 3 p.m.

In Division IV, Estancia will play its second straight home match and will face Inglewood Wednesday. Eagles Coach Gannon Burks said he will ask Inglewood’s coach to play the game at 5:30 p.m. at Jim Scott Stadium.
