The Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St., will screen “Endless Summer” during a free, surf-inspired afternoon of music and film from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Bruce Brown’s “Endless Summer” came out in 1964, and was the original surf film. It followed the exploits of two surfers who traveled around the world in search of the perfect wave.
One of the surfers, Robert August, will be at the screening. August attended Huntington Beach Union High School, where he was ASB president when he was selected for the film.
The screening will be during the center’s centennial exhibit, “Ebb & Flow.”
Only 85 seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
