Library starting downloadable audiobooks

The Huntington Beach Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave., will kick off its new downloadable audiobook program from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The Overdrive Digital Bookmobile will be at the event. Inside the bookmobile, library patrons will learn how to download audiobooks, load titles onto an MP3 player or iPod, and enter to win a free MP3 player.
The bookmobile is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs, high-definition monitors, premium sound systems and a variety of portable media players.
Welcome videos and screens will teach everything about how to download materials.
