Laguna Beach High School graduation features 265

Two hundred-sixty-five Laguna Beach High seniors graduated Thursday night during a ceremony inside the Irvine Bowl at the Festival of Arts.
Zachary Spitz was this year’s valedictorian with a 4.79 grade-point average, while Dylan Kramer was the salutatorian with a 4.78 GPA. Spitz will attend UC Berkeley in the fall while Kramer will attend Georgia Tech.
Nineteen students earned summa cum laude recognition — GPAs of 4.0 or greater. They are: Nicolas Vidas (4.72), Mason Pitz (4.69), Chiara Noppenberger (4.59), Cameron Tipton (4.57), Kara Dunne-Dombrink (4.49), Elle Mahdavi (4.46), Allison Konno (4.45), Abby Cohn (4.44), Natasha Keces (4.44), Natalie Shutts (4.43), Robert Briggs (4.43), Stuart Webb (4.39), Molly McMillen (4.37), Alexander Rounaghi (4.35), Ted Papa (4.34), Dylan Handel (4.33), Kathryn McCombs (4.32), Drake Butler (4.30), Madison Flores (4.30).
Students’ GPAs are cumulative, beginning from the first semester of their freshman year through the first semester of their senior year.
