Elena Gooray

Elena Gooray is a former assistant Op-Ed editor for the Los Angeles Times. She was previously opinion coverage editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer and before that an associate editor at Pacific Standard magazine in Santa Barbara. A native of Silver Spring, Md., she has a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in cognition in science and society from the University of Edinburgh.
